We're F-R-E-E !!

Wow, last week sure threw me for an exhaustion loop. Bun and Jules both came down with a terrible bug, fevers, congestion, crying, screaming, sleeplessness, then overwhelming fatigue, and an earache to boot. I'm so glad the storm has passed for the most part!

I meant to post these a while ago, but what with being caught in mountains of laundry and sweet crying babes, I let go of the posting for a while to focus on family healing.

Bunny and I walked off to our first "honey suckle search" last week! I love observing her in these wonderful first experiences. She had a ball choosing her honey suckles and gently pulling the delicate threads through to that tiny drop of sweetness. Julian came along for the ride of course, and he enjoyed himself just as much I think. Until of course, we ran out of diaps and Mama got dirty ;) Then it was time to head home...

Montessori Resources

I've been working hard solidifying exactly what Montessori-esque spaces, materials, ideas, etc. I want to offer in our home for the kids. Here are the sites I visit most frequently:

Micheal Olaf's 'The Montessori Method' http://www.michaelolaf.net/

Falling in love with the reclaimed, rustic feel...

Lately, Ram and I have been spending hours and hours each week pawing through design magazines, interior decorating sites, apartmentharpy, and some of our other favorite blogs.

We're pretty set on the idea of juxtaposing modern with reclaimed/ rustic. Ram has attached himself to the term "modern farmhouse," and I must say I do love the ring of it.

Don't care for the fireplace, but everything else is yummy http://www.southofmarket.biz/

I've finally swallowed the bug!

I admit it: I love reading blogs. They keep me up at night- catching me up with family and friends, giving me ideas, motivation, and always a few laughs! I find myself constantly adding bookmarks so I won't forget this idea or that- and so I've decided to make my own blog so I can have a single space for recording my favorites, sharing ideas and experiences, and keeping in touch.

So here we are, the Sunkara four. Welcome to our blog. Our journey through home making, parenting, Renewable Energies M&A, womanhood/ manhood/ childhood/ infancy, and everything in between. Hope you enjoy!
